After breakfast drive to Rishikesh approx 45 minutes drive from Haridwar. Visit the famous Laxman Jhoola, which lends its name to the locality; then comes Muni Ki Reti (sands of the sages) where the wise ones spend time in devotion, meditation and yoga; and then comes the expanding township on the bank of the river. The whole complex is called Rishikesh. Rishikesh Is important not only as a pilgrimage centre closely associated with Ramayana but also as a home for many important centers of Hindu religious thoughts and spirituality. Later drive back to Delhi to catch flight for onward destination.
