Day 01 : Delhi - Corbett (265 Kms / 7 Hrs)
Get picked up from New Delhi airport / Railway station and proceed for Corbett. Jim Corbett National Park (1006 Mts.) is world famous for the Royal Bengal Tiger Corbett Tiger Reserve: India’s first national park, cradled in the foothills of the Himalayas at spreads over an area of 520 sq km. The magnificent Ramganga River flows through the entire length of the Park. Corbett has the highest density of tiger in India. Other carnivores include the leopard, elephant, bear, deer. Basking along the banks of the Ramganga are the slender snouted gharial and the marsh crocodile. There are watch towers, elephant safaris and jeepsafaris for wildlife viewing. Arrive late evening and check in at the resort. Rest day at leisure. Stay Overnight Corbett.
Day 02 : Corbett
Early morning, take the 03 Hrs morning Jeep safari inside the Wildlife Sanctuary for your tryst with the big cats. Elephants are also available for dense jungle safaris on a first come first serve basis. Return back to the hotel after the safari and rest day at leisure. Overnight Corbett.
Day 03 : Corbett – Ranikhet (95 Kms / 3 Hrs.)
After leisurely breakfast check out of resort and proceed for Ranikhet. It is situated at1820 meters, is a serene and peaceful hillstation foreshadowed by conifer forests and surrounded by snow clad Himalayan ranges from the Bhagirathi peaks in the west to Nanda Kot in the east. Ranikhet also offers golfing at the 9 hole Army Course besides being known for the orchards of Chaubatia and Jhoola Devi Temple. Arrive Ranikhet and check in at hotel to settle down. Late afternoon local sight seeing, return to hotel late evening. Overnight Ranikhet.
Day 04 : Ranikhet – Kasauni (75 Kms / 2.5 Hrs.)
After leisurely breakfast, leave Ranikhet to arrive Kasauni by afternoon. Kasauni is situated at 1890 meters, and on a clear day it offers a spectacular 300 Kms wide view of the Himalayas. Late afternoon visit this small hill station and enjoy the serenity of this peaceful place. Stay Overnight Kasauni.
Day 05 : Kasauni – Almora (50 Kms / 2 Hrs)
After breakfast proceed for and continue your journey into nature. The town of Almora, at an altitude of 2015 metres from sea level, is situated over a horse saddle shaped ridge of a mountain. The first hill station set up by the British in 1815. Almora is all about virgin jungle consisting of verdant, thick deodar, oak, pine and rhododendron trees. A wide range of Himalayan snow peaks add to the glamour of the placeto add few more you can savour the breathtaking view of the mighty Trishul, Nandadevi, Maiktoli, Mrightuni to name a few. Arrive Almora by afternoon. Rest day at leisure to enjoy activities at resort. Overnight Almora.
Day 06 : Almora / Binsar
Today enjoy the local sight seeing of Almora/Binsar. Drive upto Jhandi Dhar (2440 mts) within the Binsar Sanctuary for a majestic view of the Himalayan panorama – the snow clad peaks of Kedarnath, Nanda Devi and Nanda Kot are visible from here. The beautiful forests of Himalayan oak and rhododendron are excellent for walks and soft treks. Nearby is the Chitai or Golu Devta Temple revered by the local population and 38 kms away is the magnificent, 10th century temple complex of Jageshwar dedicated to Lord Shiva, set amidst thick deodar woods, consisting of 124 exquisitely carved temples. Evening return to resort and stay Overnight Almora.
Day 07 : Almora - Nainital (75 Kms / 3 Hrs)
After breakfast check out and proceed for Nainital – it is a beautiful lake town one amongst the most visited places in state. Arrive by afternoon and check in at hotel. After settling down, experience boating or sailing in the tranquil waters of Naini lake cradled by mountains. Overnight Nainital.
Day 08 : Nainital
Discover this quaint hill town. Excursions on foot or horses with in Nainital to (7500 feet asl) or Dorothy’s Seat, Tiffin Top or near Nainital to Kilbury, Naukuchiatal, Sattal, Khurpatal, Bhimtal. Overnight at Nainital.
Day 09 : Nainital – Delhi (300 Kms / 8 Hrs)
After breakfast, depart for Delhi to board train / flight for onward travel / final departure. TOUR ENDS
