Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Meeting and assistance on arrival. Half day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Raj Ghat. Drive past Jama Masjid, Red Fort & India Gate (War Memorial Arch). Also drive past President’s House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place shopping centre. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 02 : Delhi-Jaipur (265 kms, 05hrs)
Morning drive to Jaipur. On arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon time free to explore the vibrant market of Jaipur which is very famous for handicrafts and local artwork. Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained this colour. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Overnight Jaipur.
Day 03 : Jaipur
Morning visit Amber Fort. Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Afternoon continue with Jaipur sightseeing, visit Maharaja’s City Palace & the Observatory. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential & business areas. Overnight Jaipur.
Day 04 : Jaipur-Agra (256 kms, 04/5hrs)
Drive to Agra visiting Fatehpur Sikri enroute. Fatehpur Sikri is 40 kms from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces. Arrive agra. Check in to hotel, evening at leisure. Overnight Agra.
Day 05 : Agra-Delhi (210 kms, 05hrs)
Morning visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. Afternoon drive to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and check in to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 06 : Delhi- Haridwar (209 kms, 3.5 hrs)
After breakfast in the morning drive to Haridwar. Arrive Haridwar & check in at the hotel. The tour itinerary includes an afternoon tour of the several ashrams in Haridwar. Some these ashrams besides being important tourist destinations are recognized internationally as centers of yoga, philosophical studies and meditation. In the evening proceed for sightseeing covering Mansa Devi and Chamunda Devi etc. Later watch the Aarti on Har ki Pauri. Night stay in Haridwar.
Day 07 : Haridwar/Rishikesh
After breakfast drive to Rishikesh approx 45 minutes drive from Haridwar.
Visit the famous Laxman Jhoola, which lends its name to the locality; then comes Muni Ki Reti (sands of the sages) where the wise ones spend time in devotion, meditation and yoga; and then comes the expanding township on the bank of the river. The whole complex is called Rishikesh. Rishikesh Is important not only as a pilgrimage centre closely associated with Ramayana but also as a home for many important centers of Hindu religious thoughts and spirituality. Drive back to Haridwar and overnight.
Day 08 : Departure
After breakfast, proceed to the airport for your onward destination.
