Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Meeting and assistance on arrival. Half day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Raj Ghat. Drive past Jama Masjid, Red Fort & India Gate (War Memorial Arch). Also drive past President’s House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place shopping centre. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 02 : Delhi – Agra (220 kms , 05 Hrs)
Morning after breakfast, proceed for Agra. Arrive Agra early afternoon and check in to hotel. Evening free to explore the famous market of Agra. Overnight Agra.
Day 03 : Agra-Jaipur (265 kms, 05hrs)
Morning visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. Afternoon drive to Jaipur enroute Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri is 40 kms from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces. Arrive Jaipur and check in to hotel for Overnight stay.
Day 04 : Jaipur
Morning visit Amber Fort. Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Afternoon continue with Jaipur sightseeing, visit Maharaja’s City Palace & the Observatory. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential & business areas. Overnight Jaipur.
Day 05 : Jaipur – Jodhpur (330 kms / 06 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Jodhpur, en-route visit Pushkar. Visit the only temple of Lord Brahma surrounded by Pushkar Lake. On the banks of the lake you will see devotees taking dip into the holy waters of Pushkar & offering prayers. Also visit the Fair Site, which is right opposite the Pushkar Lake. Optionally you can visit Ajmer Khwaja Dargah in Ajmer (11 kms). After lunch continue your driver to Jodhpur. Arrive Jodhpur in the evening and check in at hotel. Rest day free to relax. Overnight Jodhpur. (Via Pushkar/Ajmer)
Day 06 : Jodhpur - Udaipur (276 Kms - 5 hours)
After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Jodhpur visiting Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada (Mausoleums of the great Rajput Warrior) and Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum. After lunch, drive to Udaipur en route visit the famous Ranakpur Temples of 12th Century, Proceed to Udaipur, on arrival late evening transfer to hotel. Rest day at leisure. Overnight Udaipur.
Day 07 : Udaipur
After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Udaipur, visiting City Palace built in 1559, a small palace over looking at the Lake Pichola, the additions were made to it by successive Kings of Udaipur gradually evolved become the larges place in Rajasthan, Main attraction of Place are Durbar Hall, Crystal Gallery, Palace Museum and Jagdish Temple. Later visit Saheli Ki Bari that is a small ornamental garden built in the honour of Royal Ladies for recreational purpose and visit Lok Kala Mandal collection of folk art items like folk dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls folk musical instruments, folk deities and paintings. Opened seven days aweek, puppet shows and folk dancing are conducted every evening from 1800 to 1900 in an adjacent open air theatre & Shilpgram to see the village arts & crafts. Overnight Udaipur.
Day 08 : Udaipur –Cochin (by Air)
After breakfast in the morning proceed to Udaipur airport to catch flight to Cochin. Arrive Cochin & transfer to hotel. Start a city tour covering Jewish Synagogue, Santa Cruz Basilica, Chinese Fishing nets, Dutch Palace and Antique shops. Evening visit Cherai beach and overnight stay at Cochin. Overnight Cochin.
Day 09 : Cochin - Kumarakom (62 kms, 01.5 hrs)
After breakfast in the morning drive to Kumarakom .Check in to the hotel. Afternoon proceeds for local sightseeing in and around Kumarakom – a tiny backwater hamlet perched on the western banks of the Vembanadu Lake. The stretch of backwater is spread over 900 sq. km. Choose a canoe, motor boat or a houseboat and devour the beauty of this backwater paradise at its best. Overnight stay is arranged in Kumarakom.
Day 10 : Kumarakom-Alleppy
After a refreshing breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey. Set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats. Check in time is 01:00 PM. While cruising in these floating luxury-villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual – skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed-down paddy fields, and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Overnight stay in the houseboat.
Day 11 : Alleppey – Kovalam (159 kms, 02.5 hrs)
After a refreshing breakfast served onboard, check out from the houseboat and drive to Kovalam. On arrival check-in into hotel. Kovalam is one of the prime beach destinations in India. Enjoy the evening watching a spectacular sunset or swimming at the picturesque Kovalam Beach. Overnight is to be spent at hotel.
Day 12 : Kovalam
Full day at leisure at Kovalam. Spend the day in the sandy beaches of Kovalam flanked by coconut groves on one side and Arabian Sea on the other. Alternatively one can take the same day excursion tour to Kanyakumari. Overnight at Kovalam.
Day 13 : Departure
After breakfast, proceed to the airport for your onward destination.
