Destination Covered: Delhi (01) – Mandawa(01) – Bikaner(01) – Jaisalmer(02), Manawar(01) – Luni(02) – Mount Abu(02) – Udaipur(02), Pushkar(01) – Jaipur(02) with excursion to Samode

Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

Arrive Delhi and meet the representative at the arrival hall and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon proceed on a tour of Delhi. In Old Delhi visit the majestic Red Fort, the historical Chandni Chowk, besides Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana. In New Delhi visit the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys; the India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war; the Laxminarayan Temple, built by the Birlas, one of India’s leading industrial families; Qutab Minar, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty; and the lotus-shaped Baha’i Temple.

Day 02 : Delhi - Mandawa (275 kms-5 hours

After breakfast, checkout and drive to Mandawa, on arrival transfer to heritage hotel. After lunch and relaxation visit Mandawa town, stroll through the bustling bazaars and pick up things of your interest. Evenings there is a special program of music and dance performed by local artists, participate in the dance and feel the life of the people and their hospitality. Overnight Mandawa.

Day 03 : Mandawa – Bikaner (175 kms 4 hours)

After breakfast visit the Shekhawati region an important town of the years gone by, to see number of remarkable Havelis and Castles in the nearby towns of Nawalgarh and Laxman Garh. These havelis are museums in themselves, numerous havelis built by the rich merchants as their residence in 18th and 19th century. After lunch, drive to Bikaner on arrival transfer to hotel. In the evening take an excursion tour to Deshnok to see the Temple of Karni Mata – at this temple rats are held sacred & roam freely within the temple complex. Spotting a white rat in this temple is believed to by lucky. Evening free for relax. Return to the hotel for dinner and Overnight Bikaner.

Day 04 : Bikaner - Jaisalmer (330 kms - 6 hrs)

After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Bikaner covering Junagadh Fort – constructed between 1588 and 1593 by Raja Rai Singh, fort has a 986 meter long wall with 37 bastions & two entrances, if time permits you can visit Camel Breeding Farm, one of the known farm of Asia. Later drive to Jaisalmer – 330 kms, en route visit to the massive Fort Pokharan, the town Pokhran came to the limelight when several nuclear tests were conducted here during the 1970’s and the 1990’s. After visit continue to drive to Jaisalmer, on arrival transfer to the hotel. Evening you can enjoy the city atmosphere. Overnight Jaisalmer.

Day 05 : Jaisalmer

After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer covering Jaisalmer Fort built on the highest point of the Tricuta hill, consisting of 99 bastions. Outstanding features are Megh Durbar & various temples, Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli & Patwon-Ki-Haveli – some of the beautiful mansions with stone carving and latticework of breath taking intricacy, visit followed by Gadisar Lake. Later after lunch drive to Sam Sand Dunes – 45 kms en route visit the ancient Temple of Lodurwa, Amar Sagar and Mool Sagar Complex, built in 1815 AD, The complex also houses a summer palace where some beautiful paintings and pictures are displayed. On arrival at Sam Sand Dunes and transfer on Camels and enjoy camel safari to discover the various sights and sounds, the ruins and the temples in and around Jaisalmer in an authentic and leisurely fashion with entertainment by folk performers, visits to villages, and chatter from colorful guides thrown in. After safari drive back to Jaisalmer for overnight Jaisalmer.

Day 06 : Jaisalmer - Manwar (170 kms

Morning drive to Manwar. Arrive Manwar and check – in at tented camp in the middle of desert. Explore the surroundings and the village on own. (Jaisalmer – Manwar – 170 kms – 2.5- 3hrs)

Day 07 : Manwar - Luni (155 Kms – 2.5 hrs)

Morning drive to Luni. Arrive Luni and check – in at Palace Hotel. Afternoon enjoy a jeep safari to the Bishnoi Villages or horse ride around the Fort & village.

Day 08 : Luni

Day return excursion to Jodhpur. Visit The Mehrangarh Fort situated at an altitude of about 125 metres is spread over an area of 5 sq. km and has seven gates. The Jaswant Thada is a white marble memorial built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant II in 1899. The Umaid Bhawan is a majestic building that presently functions as a hotel and museum. The Mandore Gardens, situated about 8 km from Jodhpur, has cenotaphs of the Jodhpur rulers. The Government Museum and Zoo are located in the pleasant Umaid Gardens.

Day 09 : Luni – Mount Abu (265 kms 4 ½ hour)

Morning drive to Mount Abu. Arrive Mount Abu and check – in at hotel. It is a pilgrimage center for Jains and Hindus, noted for its beautiful Dilwara Jain Temples.

Day 10 : Mount Abu

Morning sightseeing tour includes visit to Dilwara Temples, the best Jain temples in the country. Gaumukh Temple, Achalgarh Fort, Toad’s Rock, Sunset Point, Trevor’s Tank; Nakki Lake said to have been carved out by the gods with their nails, is a favorite spot for boating.

Day 11 : Mount Abu-Udaipur (180 kms 3hrs)

Morning drive to Udaipur. Arrive Udiapur and check – in at hotel. Afternoon free to take a walking tour on your own through the narrow lanes and back streets of Udaipur upto the Washing Ghats at the lake Pichola. Visit one of the fine downtown restaurants for an optional dinner.

Day 12 : Udaipur

Morning sightseeing tour of Udaipur visiting The City Palace and Museum is considered as the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. Pratap Memorial has the bronze statue of Maharana Pratap, the legendary warrior king of Udaipur. Jagdish Temple which was built in 1651 AD. Saheliyon Ki Bari is a small ornamental garden. Late afternoon enjoy a two hour boat-ride on Lake Pichola visiting many Ghats (banks) of washing, bathing etc and enjoy excellent views of the Lake Palace and City Palace.

Day 13 : Udaipur – Pushkar (350 kms 5hrs)

Morning drive to Pushkar. Arrive Pushkar and check – in at hotel. Later visit Pushkar Lake which is believed by the Hindus to be as old as creation, has been a place of pilgrimage through the centuries. There are 52 bathing Ghats built around the lake

Day 14 : Pushkar - Jaipur (130 kms - 2 ½ hours)

After breakfast visit the only temple of Lord Brahma surrounded by Pushkar Lake. On the banks of the lake you will see devotees taking dip into the holy waters of  Pushkar & offering prayers. Also visit the Pushkar Fair Site, which is right opposite the Pushkar Lake. Optionally you can visit Ajmer Khwaja Dargah in Ajmer (11 kms). After lunch drive to Jaipur, on arrival transfer to the hotel. After relaxing in the evening visit to Birla Temple, speculator white marble temple, glitters in the in the night, at the time of dinner visit to Chokhi Dhani (optional) – an ethnic 5 star resort serving Rajasthani & Continental cuisine with live music, astrology, games, folk dances and music, puppet shows in an ambiance of an ethnic village. Return to the hotel for Overnight Jaipur.

Day 15 : Jaipur – Samode-Jaipur

After breakfast early morning drive to Samode. Explore the surroundings of Samode on your own. Samode Palace, Samode Haveli and Samode Bagh (Garden) are heritage monuments and structures built by the noble feudatory with the hereditary title of ‘Maha Rawal’ or ‘Maha Saheb’ of the Amber and Jaipur principality in Rajasthan, India. All three have rich history of several hundred years and display a fusion of Mughal and Rajasthani art and architecture. They are now part of the Heritage group of hotels under the flagship name of “Samode” that are run by the hereditary owners of these structures. Later drive to back to Jaipur for overnight stay. (Jaipur – Samode-Jaipur 50 kms 1hr, one way)

Day 16 : Delhi Departure

Morning drive to Delhi airport. You will be assisted by a   representative to airport to board flight for onward destination. End of our services……………
